When you use Tarulease, you trust us with information about yourself. We take that seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do — and don't do — with it. No hidden clauses. If something is unclear, write to us.
1. What we collect
When you create an account or lease a tree, we collect:
- —Your name, phone number, and email address
- —Your delivery address and any alternate addresses you save
- —Which plan you selected and your season details
- —Payment confirmation records — we use Razorpay to process payments and we never see or store your card or UPI details
- —Photos and videos of your assigned tree that the farmer sends us
- —Standard website data — your IP address, browser type, pages visited, session duration
2. Why we collect it
We collect this information for one reason: to run the service well. Specifically:
- —To process your booking and assign a tree
- —To send you farm updates — photos, notes from the field, harvest timing
- —To arrange and track your fruit deliveries
- —To contact you when something changes on the farm
- —To improve how the platform works over time
- —To meet our legal and financial obligations under Indian law
We do not sell your data. We never have and we won't.
3. Who else sees your information
We share your information only with people who need it to fulfill your order:
- —Razorpay — to process payments securely
- —Our logistics partners — to deliver your harvest to your door
- —The farm team — so they know who the tree belongs to and where to ship
- —Legal authorities — when we are legally required to do so
That's the list. No marketing firms, no data brokers, no third parties making money off your information.
4. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in, understand how the site is being used, and make it faster. We don't use cookies to track you across other websites or serve you ads elsewhere.
5. How we protect your data
We use standard security practices — encrypted connections, access controls, secure infrastructure. We'll be honest: no system is perfectly secure. If we ever discover a breach that affects you, we will tell you promptly.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:

Tarulease is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account and lease a tree.
