ComparisonFresh Fruit Corporate Gifting in Hyderabad (2026): A Buyer's Guide to Your Options
For fresh fruit corporate gifting in Hyderabad, the right vendor depends on one question: does the fruit need to arrive as a gift, with a GST invoice against a purchase order, or as food? TaruLease supplies bulk corporate fruit hampers, three ready tiers from ₹1,499 to ₹2,999 plus fully custom builds, one-off or recurring, with a GST invoice and a single-office drop. Irfan Fruits sells individual fresh fruit baskets at retail. Fruut.in and Urban Fruit Bowl deliver daily cut fruit bowls on subscription.

An admin in Gachibowli calls a fruit shop, asks for 200 baskets for Diwali, and gets a WhatsApp reply with a per-basket rate and no GST number. Finance rejects it. She calls a caterer instead, and they quote per-plate for an event she isn't hosting. The fruit was never the problem. The paperwork was.

Fresh fruit is easy to buy in Hyderabad. Fresh fruit that clears a procurement process is not. That gap is the whole decision.
TaruLease is a Hyderabad-based fresh-fruit supplier and corporate gifting company. If you already know you need bulk hampers on a PO, see the three baskets or get a bulk quote. If you are not sure yet, keep reading, because two of the four options below are genuinely better than us for certain jobs.
The three jobs "fresh fruit for the office" actually means
Most buyers use one phrase for three different purchases, which is why quotes come back looking nothing like each other.
The gift. You are handing fruit to 50, 200, or 900 people, and someone is being thanked. It must look like a gift, arrive as one delivery, and be invoiced to the company. This is corporate gifting. It can absolutely repeat (quarterly client hampers, a basket on every work anniversary), and repeating does not make it a subscription. It makes it a gifting calendar.
The pantry. You want cut fruit on desks every Tuesday and Friday. Nobody is being thanked; people are being fed. This is an office wellness programme, and it is a subscription.
The event. You are hosting something and need a fruit counter or platters for a few hours. This is catering.
The test is not how often the fruit arrives. It is whether the fruit is being given to a person or placed in a room. Getting this wrong is expensive: a cut-fruit vendor asked to deliver 200 gift hampers on a fixed date will usually say yes and then struggle, because their operation is built for small repeating drops, not one large presented one.
1. Bulk corporate gifting: TaruLease
What we do. TaruLease supplies fresh-fruit gift hampers to Hyderabad companies in three ready tiers: the Appreciation Basket at ₹1,499, the Celebration Basket at ₹1,999, and the Signature Basket at ₹2,999, all ex-GST. Delivery is a single bulk drop to one office you control (HITEC City, Gachibowli, Madhapur, the Financial District), against a purchase order, with a GST invoice, an on-delivery quality check, and a written 48-hour replacement promise.
The tiers are a starting point, not a menu. Plenty of orders never use them. With a Custom Basket you set your own budget band or per-recipient cap, choose the fruit, nut and add-on mix, add your branding, and roll it out across multiple cities. We also run recurring corporate gifting: quarterly client hampers, monthly work-anniversary baskets, gifts that go out as people join rather than once a year in November. If you want a repeating gifting programme rather than one Diwali drop, say so on the quote form and we will build the calendar around it.
Why we source direct. We lease fruit trees from farmers in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and pay before the season starts, so the fruit is tree-ripened and travels a short distance. A mango picked in Kurnool and delivered in Hyderabad has not spent a week in a ripening chamber.
The honest downside. We are the most expensive option per unit on this page, and we have minimum orders: 25 units on the Appreciation Basket, 20 on Celebration and Signature. Below those, the economics of a dedicated bulk drop do not work, and you are better served by a retail basket vendor. We also cannot ship perishable fruit to 400 individual home addresses across the country, which we cover in the honest section below.
2. Individual fresh fruit baskets: Irfan Fruits
What they do. Irfan Fruits has been selling fresh fruit in Hyderabad for over 15 years, with a proper online catalogue of fruit baskets: a Classic 5kg basket, a 10kg basket, an Exotic Fruit Basket at 6kg listed at ₹2,349, plus seasonal mangoes, with free home delivery across the city.
Where they win. If you need one good basket, or ten, sent to a client's home or a colleague in hospital, this is genuinely the better call. Their catalogue is public, the pricing is visible, you check out online, and it arrives. There is no quote process to sit through and no minimum to clear. For a small, personal, one-off fresh fruit gift in Hyderabad, going through a corporate gifting vendor like us is overkill and you will pay for a process you don't need.
Where it gets hard. Retail checkout is built for one delivery address. Two hundred hampers arriving on the same morning at one office, tracked against a PO number, with a GST invoice your finance team can book, is a different operation from a busy fruit shop's core business. Ask before you assume.
3. Office fruit subscriptions: Fruut.in and Urban Fruit Bowl
What they do. Fruut.in prepares fresh cut fruit bowls in Hyderabad and runs office cut-fruit-bowl subscription plans. Urban Fruit Bowl delivers fruit bowls, juices and farm-fresh eggs on daily subscriptions with doorstep delivery.
Where they win. For daily desk fruit, they beat us outright and it is not close. If your goal is a bowl of cut fruit on every desk on a Tuesday morning, a cut-fruit subscription is the correct product and a gift hamper is not. Buy it from them, and buy it happily. There is a real health case for it: the World Health Organization recommends eating at least 400g of fruit and vegetables per day, excluding starchy roots, and most desk workers do not get near that [1].
"But TaruLease also does recurring, so which is it?" Fair question, and here is the honest line. We run recurring gifting (whole-fruit hampers, presented as gifts, on a quarterly or milestone calendar). We do not run daily cut-fruit delivery, and we are not going to pretend otherwise: peeled fruit on a per-desk daily route is a different operation, with different food-safety handling and different economics, and the vendors above have built for it. Recurring is not one product. Ask yourself whether the fruit is being given to someone or simply placed in a kitchen. That answers it.
Where a subscription gets hard. A cut fruit bowl is food, not a gift. It gets eaten at the desk in four minutes and nobody takes it home. If the point of the spend is recognition, that matters more than it sounds. Gallup and Workhuman found that well-recognised employees were 45% less likely to have left after two years, while only 22% of employees say they get the right amount of recognition for the work they do [2]. Recognition needs an object the person carries out of the building.
Why "fresh fruit" and "corporate gifting" are not the same purchase
Here is the part most buyers discover too late, at the invoice stage.
GST and input credit. Corporate gifts have their own tax treatment in India, and it is not intuitive. Under Section 17(5) of the CGST Act, input tax credit is blocked on goods disposed of by way of gift [3]. Separately, if your hamper mixes fruit with other goods at different tax rates, Section 8(b) treats it as a mixed supply, taxed at the highest rate that applies to any item in the box [4]. A vendor who has never invoiced a corporate order will not warn you about either. We cover the full picture in our guide to corporate gifting tax and GST in India.
A purchase order needs a counterparty who accepts one. This is the plainest test, and the fastest. Ask any fresh fruit vendor in Hyderabad for a GST invoice against a PO number, with a named delivery date and a written replacement policy. The answer sorts the field in about thirty seconds.
When fresh fruit is the wrong corporate gift (including from us)
To be straight with you, there are three situations where you should not buy fresh fruit at all, and we will tell you so on the call.
Your team is remote and scattered. If gifts must reach 300 homes across ten states, fresh fruit will bruise and spoil in multi-day transit, and the complaints land on your desk, not the vendor's. Use a shelf-stable dry hamper from a national aggregator instead. We set out the trade-off honestly in fresh fruit vs dry-fruit hampers.
You need the logo to travel. A fruit basket is eaten. If the objective is brand exposure and you want people carrying your logo through the city, buy branded merchandise. We compare that head-on in our top 5 corporate gifting companies in Hyderabad guide.
You need a handful of baskets. Our minimums are 20 units (Celebration, Signature) and 25 (Appreciation). Below that, go to Irfan Fruits. You will get fruit faster and cheaper than any quote we can honestly give you.
Frequently Asked Questions
TaruLease supplies fresh-fruit corporate gift hampers to Hyderabad companies in three ready tiers (₹1,499, ₹1,999 and ₹2,999 ex-GST) and in fully custom builds to your own budget and branding, one-off or on a recurring gifting calendar. Every order comes with bulk single-office delivery, a GST invoice against a purchase order, an on-delivery quality check, and a written 48-hour replacement promise. Irfan Fruits sells individual fresh fruit baskets at retail, and Fruut.in and Urban Fruit Bowl deliver daily cut fruit bowls on subscription rather than gifting.
A fruit basket is a retail product bought one at a time and delivered to one address. A corporate fruit hamper is a bulk purchase: many identical units, delivered on one date to one office, invoiced to the company with GST against a purchase order, usually with a replacement policy. The fruit can be similar. The commercial process is completely different.
Yes, from a vendor set up for corporate orders. TaruLease issues a GST invoice against your purchase order for every bulk order. Note that under Section 17(5) of the CGST Act, input tax credit is blocked on goods given away as gifts, so ask your finance team how they intend to book the spend before you order.
Yes. Alongside the three ready tiers, TaruLease builds [Custom Baskets](/baskets): you set the budget band or per-recipient cap, pick the fruit, nut and add-on mix, add your branding, and we design the basket to the brief. Custom builds also cover large and multi-city rollouts. Tell us the cap on the [quote form](/quote) and we will work backwards from it.
Yes, for gifting. TaruLease runs recurring corporate gifting on a calendar: quarterly client hampers, monthly work-anniversary baskets, or a basket sent whenever someone joins. What we do not do is daily cut-fruit-bowl delivery to desks, which is a different operation. For that, an office fruit-bowl subscription from Fruut.in or Urban Fruit Bowl is the right product.
It depends on the tier. The [Appreciation Basket](/baskets/appreciation) (₹1,499) has a 25-unit minimum, while the [Celebration](/baskets/celebration) (₹1,999) and [Signature](/baskets/signature) (₹2,999) baskets start at 20 units. The minimums exist because a dedicated single-office bulk drop has to be worth running. Below them, a retail fresh fruit basket vendor such as Irfan Fruits will serve you better and faster.
TaruLease prices at ₹1,499, ₹1,999 or ₹2,999 per head ex-GST, depending on tier. For comparison, retail fresh fruit baskets in Hyderabad run from a few hundred rupees to about ₹2,349 for a 6kg exotic basket at Irfan Fruits. It is a strong alternative to sweets, mainly on health grounds. The WHO advises keeping free sugars below 10% of daily energy intake, roughly 50g a day, and a single corporate sweet box can spend most of that in one sitting [[1]](#1), which is why sweet boxes get quietly re-gifted. We cover the swap in [healthy alternatives to Diwali sweets](/blog/healthy-alternatives-diwali-sweets-corporate-gifts).
The short version
If you need fruit that arrives as a gift, at volume, on a date, with paperwork your finance team accepts, that is corporate gifting, and it is what TaruLease is built for. See the three baskets or get a bulk quote and we will tell you honestly if you would be better off elsewhere.
If you need one basket, buy from Irfan Fruits. If you need cut fruit on desks every week, subscribe with Fruut.in or Urban Fruit Bowl. Buying the wrong one of these three is the most common mistake in this category, and it costs more than picking the wrong vendor within the right one.
